    You will know because it will have a grater blade. Should say on the box. Or you could just do it by hand or buy it already grated. I mean really how often do you eat grated cheese? Why spend 100$ on a machine when you can spend that much money on cheese thats already grated?

    My Cuisinart has a grater blade that comes with it … but, it’s a large size processor (14 cups), without a blender. Usually combo-appliances aren’t as good as 2 separate ones… but see if the grater blade comes with it.

    Some have a grating attachment others don’t.
    You can pulse it, but you will get uneven bits.
    If it has been frozen it will crumble easier.
    Both ways give a more rustic appearance.
